It's incredibly surprising that Sean and I hadn't met before I was 24 and he was 25. For a large part of our childhood, we lived two streets away from each other and even went to the same school for 3 years. We have countless mutual friends and went to the same church.
There were so many reasons why we should've met sooner but, we were lucky enough to meet in our 20s at the Black Taxi. Sometimes timing is just perfect.
After Sean moved home from Mexico, we reconnected and went on our first date at the Wissahickon Trail. We talked about meditation, lawn mowing, our families, and how I thought Ben Simmons was bad for the 76ers. The rest of our first couple of dates included walks, Pictionary, and Sean having to drive through police barricades to get out of Philadelphia.
We have so many amazing memories from dating and have made such special friends along the way. Just to highlight a few we have loved our summers in Margate, sleepovers at Mike and MKs, our year in Hamilton, team trips to LA + Miami, and of course our vacations to Charleston.
We are so excited to start this next chapter together as husband and wife. And we thank each of you for being with us through it all! We love you and can't wait to celebrate!
